Grell's Diary Week Ten Part 1

February 26th 1881</u>


I woke up today with a splitting headache and the feeling that something was completely wrong.  Despite that however, I also had a feeling that I was free of something and I couldn't think what it could possibly be until I was slumped over the toilet vomiting when I suddenly remembered what it was – Loretta! She was dead! I was so happy at the remembrance that I nearly stood up while I was still getting sick. I laughed at my idiocy, but it wouldn't have made a difference anyway, I reeked of alcohol and blood and I had dried blood all over me.

After I'd stopped puking, I had a shower, being able to relax in it for the first time in a long while without having to worry about blood pouring out of it all over me. Today was going to be a good day, I could feel it. I didn't even bother going into the office today and just went straight t Undertaker's house.

I have to say, I was pretty surprised at how he was looking to be honest. The poor guy looked really stressed out and he didn't even laugh that much... Something must really be up with him. I asked if it was about those soul orb things or if anything had happened but he just waved my questions away and told me to shut up before making some tea. I was tempted to tell him about what happened with Loretta and even to mention meeting Sebastian, but I didn't want to make him worry any further and just kept quiet. It was a rather miserable visit actually, and it completely ruined my positive attitude from this morning. I probably would have been better off meeting up with Sebastian, but I have no idea how to contact him... We were so drunk last night that I guess I just forgot to ask how. Oh well, it's probably for the best.

I left Undertaker's feeling pretty miserable and just found a bar and went in and drank for a while. Everyone has been acting so strange lately, I don't get it... William and Alan are obviously together which disturbs me t no end, though I can't quite figure out why, Eric has just gone missing altogether, Ronald is too busy with Melody (even they're acting weird lately....) and now even UNDERTAKER is miserable!! As for that weird Alice girl... Well, I don't even know what to say. Apparently she's living with William and Alan now, one big unnatural, creepy, undead goddamn family... I think I might be slightly drunk.... I better watch I don't drop this damned diary... I took it with me you see, in case I get kidnapped again and need to not stuff down. It seems to be a regular occurrence lately....



February 27th 1881</u>


Hey, guess what? I woke up in a hotel room this morning. I guess I must have gotten pretty drunk last night, because how else would I get here? Also, keep it between you and me diary, but I think I might have had a woman here last night too... She was obviously a hooker though, know why? Because all of my money is gone, that's why. The bitch probably ribbed me... I hope the room is already paid for because I snuck out of the window...

Didn't go to the office today either... I wonder if anyone misses me? They probably don't... I wonder, did William invite me to dinner at his place? I'm sure he did but I'm too out of it to care at the minute. I feel reeeally weird... It's like I'm on drugs or something, I don't know... I just feel really careless and dizzy.... Maybe I drank too much again. I should definitely go to the office tomorrow though, or they'll get angry. I should probably just sleep... I need to find that shawl William gave me; it's really warm I'm sure it'll make me feel better. I wish I could find out where Sebastian is, I feel so bored....  I'm just going to go home, have a bath and sleep I think (sitting on a bench now for no reason)

Wow, OK, now THAT was a scary dream... I had this dream that I was killing Loretta again, but she had a different face... well, OK, it was HER face but different... like.... I don't know... It's like it was a different Loretta I was killing or something.... I'm surprised her brother hasn't asked after her. I might try and find their house tomorrow, just to settle something in my brain.... Hmm.... Goodnight Diary.



February 28th 1881</u>


I woke up today, happy that it was finally the end of a disastrous, pain filled month, but my happiness was soon destroyed when I realised that it's a leap year this year. Fantastic, yet another day in this dreaded month, could it get any worse? I have decided to just spend tomorrow sitting in my house doing NOTHING until the damn month is over. Unless anything else happens today, then this month will therefore be able to get any worse than it already is.

Anyway, as I said, I went into the office today, making a point to find that house after I left. I sound my shawl and just wandered about really because I still feel a bit dazed, particularly after my weird dream. I saw William, but he just looked at me strangely and I figured I must look pretty bad at the moment. I had a lot to catch up on so I was in my office a lot, but it didn't stop me noticing how weird everyone was acting... Ronald seemed quiet and deep in thought, Alan was... Alan, Melody seemed on the verge of tears... WHAT'S HAPPENING?! I wish people would just TALK for Christ sake.... Still, whatever, I'm safe right?

I'm not going to the house today after all. I decided just as work finished. If I go, chances are that something bad will happen and I want to end this month alive. I should make a new New Years's resolution – stay the hell away from danger.  It begins today. I'm going home and I am not leaving until it's March. And that's it.
